11/50 before GW2 release?
Hi, i bought gw1 with expansion 2 mouth ago, i reached lvl 20 not long ago and had the idea to try to get 11 point before gw2 release, so far i got 3 point wich is nothing yet, i have seen the guide up there but it seen to be optimized to reach 30 point faster and probably not 11, im not too far away to beat prophecy and just reached the large island on nightfall.
So i was wondering what would be the best procedure to reach 3 to 11? Money way is not really a way since i made about 20k since i started playing. thanks. |

Buy/Own Eye of the North expansion
You need to own Eye of the North to turn in your achievements. Also note that you can continue to gain HoM points after GW2 releases. Beat Prophecies, Nightfall, or Factions Campaign (5/11 HoM) - 2 points **Time Consuming** Dedicate any Ranger pet (6/11 HoM) - 1 point Buy/Farm 8x Nightfall Hero Armors + Dedicate M.O.X. (10/11 HoM) - 4 points **Time consuming** Dedicate any miniature, whites are cheaper to buy. (11/11 HoM) - 1 point Last edited by krazyxazn; Aug 12, 2012 at 04:07 AM // 04:07.. |

The fastest way to get 11 points is to complete factions then EotN with a ranger secondary
3 auto 1 point for MOX 1 black moa pet 1 point for regular pet 1 point for imperial phoenix 1 point for elite armor 1 point for mastering in NM, an elite kurzick or luxon armor or 3 elite armors which might be easier than 1 elite kurzick/luxon. All are equally hard, the elite needs a lot and the mastering the eternal grove without other players is near impossible. 1 point for a cheap white mini (whisper me and I hook you up Lilith Dragonhart) 1 point for completing the game there you go. Get your free 10 zkeys and sell them for ~55k, use that money to easily get 8 more points.

You need to dedicate it at the The Monument of "Honor"

Alright, so 1 more stolen armor part for koss and 1 rare pet then i got 11 point, though i was wondering if there is a loot limit for the stolen armor, because i got 2 of them within 6 guild corsair, for the last one, killed like 20 and no loot, otherwise, how much they cost?

There is no limit as such, but the drop rate falls sharply after about four. Also consider luck. The drop rate is per character so you can always get a second character there for some easy drops and then transfer them over to your main.

No, anything dedicated to your HoM stays there even if you delete/sell the pet or the character that had the achievement. FYI, most all dedicated pets decrease dramatically in value once dedicated and usually do not sell for very much.

Hardly anything tbh. People really only want minipets for the HoM so they lose pretty much all value once they've been dedicated. A lot of people delete them/give them away because they're that worthless. You might have gotten some small (<5k) amount of cash a few months ago as people were still playing for the game itself (not for the HoM/GW2) and would have some interest in it, but I doubt it. That time has passed. Trying to sell it now would be wasted effort - your time will be much better spent farming/whatnot.
